An Introduction to Digital Marketing
This one day workshop gives owners and managers of SMEs the opportunity to see how internet based marketing tools and techniques can improve business performance.
The sessions are highly practical with real-life examples and interactive sections to ensure that delegates fully understand how to apply their learnings in a best practice format.
Key areas of the session include:
·Defining what online marketing is, and the differences between online marketing and “traditional” marketing
·How to plan an effective website and choosing the best value options for getting it built
·Making your website attractive to Google and other search engines
·How to attract website visitors and convert them into clients
·Using social media to get business (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and LinkedIn)
·The options for online advertising (including Pay-per-Click and Google AdWords), and the advantages and disadvantages
·How to measure the success of online marketing activity
The workshop will be led by highly experienced trainers with a successful track record of enabling small businesses to achieve online success.They’ll be spending time with you in an action planning session at the end of the course to help you define your way forward.
The course is aimed at SME business owners and managers who are aware of the possibilities of digital marketing but need a jargon free approach to gaining a better understanding.
Please note that places are not guaranteed until confirmed by the organisers. All companies wishing to attend will be assessed against eligibility criteria before we can confirm your place. Please note priority will be given to small to medium sized Enterprises (SME) based in the West Midlands region who have not already received assistance from the programme.
To class as an SME your business must employ less than 250 employees, have a turnover below £35m and not be owned more than 25% by a non-SME (does not include Venture Capital or investment groups).
