Did you know that one in three people will develop dementia in their lifetime? This World Alzheimer’s Month, our expert MindCare team invites you to join a free bitesize session to learn more about dementia.

This session is ideal for people who care for those with dementia, whether that’s in a professional or personal setting. It’s also open to people interested in supporting their community by improving their understanding of dementia.

The free 2-hour session will cover:

· What is Dementia?

· How the memory works

· Positive communication approaches

· How to access further training

About the team

Our award winning MindCare Dementia Skills team has an extensive understanding of dementia diagnoses and together have more than 25 years’ experience of supporting and training professionals, carers and family members.
