Freeports: International Trade Forum
Date and time
Join our International Trade Forum at AV Dawson's Port of Middlesbrough, focusing on the role of Freeports in the North East.
About this event
Freeports have been labelled as one of the major opportunities of UK-EU Exit, and a piece in the Government's levelling up agenda. But what are they, and how do they work?
The Forum will explore this theme to give members a better understanding of Freeports and their role in the region. First, we will hear from Nolan Gray, Director of TVCA Freeport, on the potential of a regional freeport for the North East
Followed by a specialists insight into the practical usage of a Freeport, and how businesses can best utilise and benefit from it.
We will also hear from our host, Charlie Nettle of AV Dawson on their new facility.
The forum is also an opportunity for members to share their recent international trade experience, receive policy and trade updates from the Chamber, as well as help shape Chamber policy and activity.
This forum will be held on Tuesday 12 July and is free to attend for global members, hosted at the Port of Middlesbrough, AV Dawson
