FREESTYLE: Free Virtual Curator Tour - 24 June
Event Information
About this Event
RIBA has commissioned architectural designers Space Popular to create an online virtual version of our FREESTYLE exhibition. Hosted in a social VR platform, the virtual exhibition will allow visitors to access and engage with the exhibition remotely, while our physical exhibition remains closed until further notice.
By joining this free virtual curator tour, you can 'visit' the exhibition with RIBA Exhibition Curator Shumi Bose and hear from her about working with Space Popular on our first ever VR exhibition.
Please note that this event is online and the link will be emailed to ticket holders shortly before the event, so please provide the best email to contact you on. The event will take place in the social VR platform Mozilla Hubs. Ticket holders require no prior knowledge of this platform and will receive instructions on how to enter the space with the link to attend, however the following guidelines will help to best optimise user experience:
- Ethernet connection will be stronger than connection over wifi
- Desktop/ laptop access will be better than connecting via a smartphone
The event has a limited capacity so if you cannot attend after signing up please let us know so that we can release your ticket to someone else
The exhibition has been supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
This event is part of LFA Digital 2020, the online edition of the London Festival of Architecture, taking place from 1-30 June at londonfestivalarchitecture.org.
