Bezique perform a variety of French Gypsy Acoustic Jazz and café music from around the world. Their repertoire includes music by Django Reinhardt, Richard Galliano, Bireli Lagrene and others, as well as original compositions. They also incorporate an occasional rarely heard North African flavour to their repertoire through the inclusion of works by the Algerian chaabi pianist Maurice el-Medioni, giving them a uniquely cosmopolitan sound on the UK gypsy jazz scene.The show draws on a combination of well-known and rarer music, presenting an accessible show with broad appeal.This show is performed by highly experienced professional musicians, with excellent stagecraft and knowledge and experience of rural touring.The show includes stories about both the music and the performers and is interactive - with a post-show Q&A option which has proved highly popular.
