French for Beginners - Bury St Edmunds (Daytime)

This ten-week course is term time only, Tuesday 9.30am - 11am

Course Content:

The course will focus on developing core skills in reading, listening and speaking in French so you can communicate on everyday issues such as food/drink, accommodation, time, colours, numbers, dates, describing people and places. Writing will mostly feature as homework.

The lessons will ensure that you master pronunciation and simple phrases for everyday conversation. The lessons will include a variety of activities and resources aiming to give you excellent opportunities to practise your language skills.

This course is ideal for complete beginners or those with a little basic knowledge of Italian who’d like to build confidence and start using the language in everyday situations.

What do I need to bring:

Pen and notebook. The tutor will recommend a chosen course book that you may purchase as a study aid.

Further Course Information:

Our language courses begin with Part 1 in the Autumn term (September) and continue across the academic year with *Part 2 in Spring and *Part 3 in Summer. (*subject to sufficient enrolment numbers)

Each term runs for 10 weeks, and learners will need to enrol separately for each part. Enrolment for future terms will open closer to the start dates.

We offer language classes at different levels. If you're unsure which level is right for you, just get in touch — one of our tutors will be happy to help you find the best fit.

If you are no longer able to attend, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Cancellations received within 2 days of the course start date are non-refundable.

Missed sessions by individual students are non-refundable.

When purchasing more than one ticket—whether for yourself or on behalf of others—you must provide the correct individual information for each attendee. Duplicate or identical information cannot be used for multiple tickets and may result in registration issues.
