Thanks for stopping by the 'FRESH Talk' Networking page, in association with 'The Art of BRILLIANT'.
We've set up the networking event to avoid the 'hurdles' of what is out there already. Unfortunately some networking events are just events to 'turn up' at and be seen at, rather than giving or recieving any real value from the people that are there. We've made it so laid back that it's the networking event, for people who don't like networking. No pressure. No fear. No hassle.
Some businesses genuinely don't see the value of networking events because they're made to 'sell', they're made to feel they 'need' to recommend business or clients, made to sit through presentations where people 'sell' stuff or a combination of all three.
FRESH TALK wants Businesses that want show how BRILLIANT they are.
If you are proud of what you've started, achieved and the services or products that can help other businesses with, then this is a Networking event for you.
If you believe you are the best in your field, and a BRILLIANT business to do business with, then we want you to share your business and your story with everyone.
How the FRESH TALK event will work:
We will have 3 speakers on the night.
Each speaker has only 15 minutes to tell us their story. Their stories can be BRILLIANT stories about how they've gone from where they started to where they are today.
They could be emotional, serious, funny and some downright outrageous. Heart wrenching, thoughtful, provoking and inspirational
This months Guest Speakers:
Toni McDonald, BBC Hereford and Worcester Breakfast Presenter
Rich 'Hursty' Hurst, FREE Radio Breakfast Presenter
Being in business, running a business or owning your own business can be lonely, so hearing others stories, ideas and thoughts can not only be motivational and inspirational, but remind you what a genuinely BRILLIANT job you do for your business and your customers.
Why We're Taking A FRESH Approach to Networking
One of the fundamental truths of doing business in this busy world is that people buy from people. People like to trust or get to know the person they are doing business with, so standing up and asking for new clients from people that you barely know or you, them is at best awkward.
So what makes you do what you do?
Why do you do what you do?
How do you do it?
THAT is what people and businesses want to really hear.
Understanding WHO people are doing business with is just AS important as knowing what they do. If you're an accountant, you do accounts. If you do recruitment, you recruit. If you own an Italian restaurant, you serve Italian food. So WHY should people listen, connect with or use you?
You do the same as everybody else in that field don't you? Of course you don't, so we want you to tell others WHY you are a BRILLIANT Business to do business with.
