Thursday 1 October 2020
12pm - Meet for coffee and lunch in Keswick (Lakeside Cafe Restaurant, 30a Lake Rd, Keswick CA12 5DG) - park at Lakeside Car Park
12.30pm (approx) - We'll take the Keswick launch across Derwentwater to Hawse End and start our afternoon 7-8km walk up towards Catbells.
4.30pm - Return ferry to Keswick
5pm - Check-in to accommodation - Freshwalkers can park up, settle in and get showered & changed.
6.30pm - Evening pub meal TBC - a few drinks and pub food while putting finishing touches to the big walk.
Friday 2 October 2020
8am - Breakfast
9am - A 21km challenging circular hike from Keswick upto Skiddaw which at 931m is one of the highest mountains in England (subject to demand there will probably be an alternative and easier Friday route)
4.30pm - Pub (quick celebratory drink)
7pm - Dinner & drinks - La Rosa Roja Wine & Tapas (website here)
