Earlier this summer, we extended the Friday opening hours at our Altrincham Market Community Kitchen for a series of Foodie Friday nights - hosting 6 evenings of delicious food with different themes every week.

After a pause in August (we've been rennovating our new Community Kitchen in Manchester city centre!) we're delighted to confirm 3 final friday night events including this fabulous Friday Night Feast - a 3-course supper club fundraiser in aid of Bounceback Food CIC and Olinda Community Gardens!

Join us for drinks from 5pm, followed by 3 delicious dishes starting 6pm (see our menu in the FAQs) made with veg grown by Olinda Community Gardens from their nearby project at Dunham Massey. We will of course accommodate all dietary requirements so please ensure you give us full details of these when signing up. We'll have a range of drinks & cocktails on the night too and will be open for drinks from 5pm, ready and waiting with our fancy plates, knives & forks! We have covered outdoor seating, so keep an eye on the forecast & we'll keep our fingers crossed for some late summer sun...

All proceeds from the event will be split evenly between Bounceback Food CIC, to support our social enterprise as we tackle food poverty and food waste across Greater Manchester, and Olinda Community Gardens as they increase natural biodiversity with a range of projects across the city.

Who are we?

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty on multiple fronts. Since 2014 our Community Cookery School teams have been teaching people how to cook, running food bank drives at market events, helping people get jobs in the food sector and coordinating community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries.

Since 2014 we have taught 12,500+ people how to cook, including stroke survivors, young carers, food bank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 25,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 285,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.

Our community chefs have created this delicious 3-course meal based on the veg grown/supplied by Olinda Community Gardens - from their nearby growing projects at Dunham Massey and elsewhere. A huge thanks to Cheshire Wild Venison for kindly supplying the meat for the main too!

When is the Community Kitchen in Altrincham normally open?

We are open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - 9am-3pm. We opened our Alty Market Community Kitchen in July 2023.
