About this Event

Written by American author Charlotte Perkins Gilman in 1892, a young woman and her physician husband rent a mansion for the summer, where she is largely confined to an upstairs nursery due to 'temporary nervous depression'.

With bars at the windows, and the bed nailed to the floor, the peeled and torn sickly-yellow wallpaper becomes an obsession, as she descends into madness, seeing moonlit figures behind the patterns, and with an understanding of the 'truth' that only she knows.

Age suitability: Adults and teens (12+)

"I get completely absorbed with Jason. His story telling throws me into different world, stretching my imagination", Jacquilline (Southampton)
"Jason Buck is a man made of myth, magic and mead. His stories are filled with adventure, his beard is full of unexpected twists and his tankard filled with a poet's brew. Sit around the fire and listen to his tales - you won't be disappointed", Abbie,(Sussex)

How to watch:

You will receive a confirmation email, after purchasing your ticket, with links and passcodes to join the online session (remember to check your spam folder).

I will be online at least 15 minutes before the start of the story, to help with any technical issues or answer any questions.

You may need to download and install the app Zoom Client for Meetings to participate, so best to do that ahead of time (compatible with most computers and phones etc): https://zoom.us/download
