Description

An informal evening of short 'taster' talks exploring Scottish artworks and women artists in the NGS collection. Speakers will include activist and writer Sara Sheridan and historian duo The History Girls, Karen Mailley-Watt and Rachael Purse.

More speakers just announced: Heroica Theatre Company will share a special preview reading by Anna Carlisle (writer) and Alexandra Mathie (actor) of excerpts from their new forthcoming play on the life of movement expert and artist Margaret Morris; dance artist and Margaret Morris Movement (MMM) expert Sara Lockwood will present a selection of dance MMM movements; and artist Caroline Douglas will be speaking about the role of pioneering Scottish women in the development of early photography.

Doors open 6pm; event starts at 6.30pm. A pay-bar will be serving drinks and snacks.
