Assalamu ‘Alaykum,
Alhamdulillah, we will be holding Salatul Jum’uah (The Friday Prayer) at the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy in the University of Birmingham.
However, due to limited capacity worshippers will be required to book their slot in advance.
Please register here and keep a virtual copy of the ticket provided to show on the day when you arrive.
Worshippers are also required to follow social distancing rules as well as any other rules that are in place.
Due to the limited capacity, worshippers are also requested to pray in a local masjid if reasonably possible and to only come if the Friday Prayer is compulsory for them.
Timings:
There will be 2 congregations on the following times:
• 12:45 pm - 13.00 pm
• 1:20 pm - 1.35 pm
Please ensure you adhere to the following guidance, we look forward to welcoming you to the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy.
Please follow the guidance stipulated below:
*1. Booking a place*
• We encourage you to download and use the Government track-and-trace system. St Francis Hall’s QR code is displayed by the Reception desk.
• Only book 1 place for yourself (do not book on behalf of others)
• Book using your University student or staff Bham account.
• Only make a booking if you are able to attend.
• Do not attend if you are unwell, or are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
*2. Arrival*
• Arrive 5 minutes before your allotted time.
• Arrive with Wudu.
• Bring your own face covering, shoe bag, prayer mat and student/staff ID.
• Bring a virtual copy of your Eventbrite ticket to show to stewards.
• DO NOT congregate or meet with others outside of the premises.
*3. Rule of attendance*
• DO NOT INTERACT with other worshippers while in the building.
• Follow social distancing rules and guidelines (2 meters plus) at all times.
• Listen to the announcements and instructions from staff and volunteers .
*4. Exit*
• Exit directly after the Service and prayers.
• Maintain social distancing
• DO NOT congregate or meet with others outside of the premises after the Service.
