When & Where
Friends of Atwell Wilson Motor Museum
The Friends of Atwell Wilson Motor Museum (FAWMM) formed in 1997 with the aim of enabling its members to help preserve some of our motoring past, by giving time to the museum on a voluntary basis.
Ranging from “hands on” help, such as day to day maintenance of the museum and its collection, through raising awareness of the museum at events to fund-raising activities at classic car shows and local events where we sell tickets for the annual raffle of a car. All the money raised goes to the upkeep of the Museum and its collection.
The highlight of the year is the Friends’ Annual Classic Vehicle Show, traditionally held in July, which attracts many hundreds of vehicles and enthusiasts. It is preceded on the evening before by the annual road run, which culminates in a social gathering.
