Friends of Spectrum celebrate Trans* Day of Visibility LDN
Mon 27 March 2017, 12:30 – 13:30 BST
THIS IS AN INTERNAL ONS EVENT
You must be a member of staff and sign up using your Goverment email address. Failure to do so may result in your place being removed without warning.
Why do people undergo gender reassignment?
Friends of Spectrum is hosting an event with a speaker who underwent this process as a teenager. You'll be shown the impact on wellbeing when transition is out of reach, and the history of progress that has been made in medicine, science, government, and society.
Curious? Come along for an open and frank discussion on the 27th of March. This will consist of a presentation from 12:30 to 13:00, then a Q&A session for as long as people want to discuss, to the latest of 13:30.
If there are any questions for the Q&A that you wish to submit before the event, please email them to FriendsOfSpectrum@ons.gov.uk.
This event is hosted in Titchfield with a Video Link to London - Please be aware there is a slim chance this meeting may be canceled and the room required by the DG's.
