This is the very first Friends of TERN event, and provides an opportunity to support The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN) and understand more about what we do. It will also be a chance to meet and celebrate with our refugee entrepreneurs as they pass through our inaugural programme.
Our venue is the striking St. Ethelburga's Centre. All but destroyed following an IRA bomb blast in 1993, it has been beautifully restored as a centre for promoting peace and reconciliation. With so much focus on what divides us, we hope this evening will take a small step towards highlighting that which unites us.
Featuring stalls from our refugee entrepreneurs, a special exhibition from the Empathy Museum and drinks & canapes made by some of our entrepreneurs, we very much hope you can join us for what promises to be a really special evening.
