FrightFest in The Library - A Northern Short Story Festival Mini-Fest.
Workshop: Write a Horror Story in an Hour!
Ghosts, witches, skeletons, and things that go ‘bump’ in the night. Create your own complete story using prompts with award-winning author SJ Bradley.
Join us in the atmospheric setting of The Leeds Library (on Commercial St NOT Central Library) for an afternoon of uneasy ghosts, telltale hearts and haunted mansions. Warning: this workshop promises to be FRIGHTENINGLY good fun!
Tickets are £6 + Eventbrite booking fee. The workshop will start promptly at 2pm.

The Leeds Big Bookend had its first festival in 2012 and has continued to stage literary festivals and pop up events all over Leeds since then including the very successful Northern Short Story Festival. The Leeds Big Bookend team are all volunteers who came together to make something big happen for the city of Leeds because we wanted to make a difference to the city we live in and because we all have a passion for words.The Leeds Big Bookend is a non profit making company limited by guarantee with charitable objectives. Any extra money generated from our activities is put straight back into the fund and used for ongoing events.
