"There was something so elegant about Bel's smile. Pheobe made a mental note to practice like that in the mirror." Antimacassar City, Guy McCrone

Mrs Bel Moorhouse. She's undoubtably the jewel in the family crown.

Join us in the Drawing Room at Holmwood House where you will learn more about life as a woman in the Victorian era; the fashions, the rules, and the many expectations.

We then invite you to join us for a spot of tea, as through an interactive tea-tasting session, you will learn more about some of the popular teas of the Victorian era.

Our Wax Fruit weekend celebrates the republication of Guy McCrone's Glasgow-based trilogy Wax Fruit, first published in the 1940s.
