From Basement to Skyline: Inside a Major Cambridge Construction Project

Join the CIOB at this exciting project comprising of the construction of two new commercial buildings of seven and five storeys with F&B on the ground floor with a total NIA of 308,278sq/ft. The two offices are based on a ground floor podium slab above a 7m deep basement with a mezzanine level to provide for building services, loading bay, car parking and bicycle parking for the proposed commercial buildings and to include cycle and car parking spaces for the adjacent Botanic House office. A basement mezzanine level will also accommodate an F&B floorspace. The project also includes the refurbishment of the Flying Pig Public House at 106 Hills Road, including alterations and partial demolition of rear two storey extension and store, to enable the construction of a new DDA accessible extension and pub garden.
