About this event
Parenting a child with ADHD can feel like a daily battle: outbursts, emotional overwhelm, constant conflict, and a sense of walking on eggshells. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
Join us for an empowering in-person workshop designed specifically for parents of children with ADHD (diagnosed or suspected). You’ll gain practical tools to better understand your child’s brain, support emotional regulation, improve cooperation at home and nourish their nervous system from the inside out.
🔍 What we’ll cover:
- What ADHD really is – from a brain development and executive function perspective
- Why common parenting approaches often backfire – and what works instead
- Strategies to support self-regulation, transitions, attention, and sleep
- Key nutrients and the gut-brain connection in ADHD
- Practical, food-first ways to support even fussy eaters
- Tools to support the whole family – including you
💡 You’ll walk away with:
- A deeper understanding of your child’s challenges
- Strategies that build connection, resilience, and cooperation
- Practical nutrition tips to support your child’s focus, mood, and wellbeing
- Clear next steps you can use right away at home
- A greater sense of confidence, clarity, and hope
Frequently asked questions
This workshop is designed for parents, carers, or guardians of children with ADHD — diagnosed or suspected. You don’t need any prior knowledge of ADHD or experience with nutrition to attend.
Absolutely. If you’re wondering whether your child may be neurodivergent, or you simply find some of the behaviours challenging, this workshop will still be helpful.
We kindly ask that you attend without your child so we can create a calm, focused space for learning, reflection, and connection with other parents. This way, you’ll be able to fully engage with the content and take time for yourself.
The workshop is suitable for parents of children of any age. Both the parenting strategies and nutritional guidance can be adapted to support your child’s focus, regulation, and wellbeing whatever their stage of development.
No hard sell. We’ll let you know about further support options, including coaching and online resources, but the focus is on giving you practical tools you can start using right away.
