Guided by an accomplished artist and a Japanese food specialist, you’ll learn to see, taste, and express colours in a way you’ve never experienced before.

What You’ll Experience

Phase 1: Observation – The Balance of Yin and Yang

We begin by observing natural, plant-based food materials. Through guided sensory practices, you’ll explore the dynamic balance between light and darkness — discovering how Yin and Yang express themselves through colour, form, and taste.

You’ll learn to:

• Perceive subtle colour nuances and their emotional resonance
• Cultivate curiosity and sensitivity through mindful observation
• Deepen your understanding of the world’s living forces

Phase 2: Expression – Abstract Forms and Evocative Colour

Awakened by observation, your perception becomes the palette for creation. You’ll translate the essence of food and colour into abstract artwork that captures emotion and movement — allowing your inner world to flow freely through colour and form.

Phase 3: Mindful Nourishment – A Taste of Simplicity

The day concludes with a serene Nourishment Session, prepared with care and authenticity.

Yuet-na Tse is a Hong Kong-based artist and educator dedicated to fostering personal transformation through art and mindfulness. Inspired by the Tao Te Ching and Goethe’s Theory of Colours, she invites participants to explore the sacred connection between inner life and the natural world through contemplative abstract expression.

Nourishment & Cuisine Guide — Jimmy Leung
Jimmy Leung is an expert in vegetarian cuisine, known for his mastery of traditional ingredients such as rice, pickles, and condiments. Having led numerous food-related workshops for social welfare groups, Jimmy brings warmth, authenticity, and precision to every meal — transforming nourishment into a mindful experience.
