Description

Fireside chat: "From Hedge funds to Social Change, what does it entail to be on an investment committee?”

One of the identified building blocks to reach more visibility and influence as a woman in social finance, is about joining an investment committee.

On Monday July 23d, we will host a fireside chat session on what it entails to be on an Investment Committee, with guest hosts Geetha Rabindrakumar (Big Society Capital, Plan, Scope, ECT, Retail Charity Bonds) and Andrea Marmolejo (Blue Topaz Capital, Lankelly Chase, WorldBank, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs).

Geetha and Andrea will share:

  • How they go to join their first IC, and the varied experiences they accrued.
  • What the job pragmatically entails and the skills required to grow your investment committee readiness.
  • Assumptions and obstacles they faced regularly and how they overcame these obstacles.

The conversation will be followed by an extensive Q&A, an opportunity to get co-mentoring and valuable tips from your peers, and a great networking opportunity.

Kindly RSVP so that we can share any details and reminder prior to the event.

Free event - 6pm UK BST - 8pm UK BST
