From High Bills to Savings: An SME’s Energy Efficiency Journey with BEAS
Overview
⚡ BEAS Power Webinar Week
For many small and medium-sized businesses, rising energy costs and older equipment are a constant challenge. A West Midlands-based printing and mailing company faced similar pressures, and by working with BEAS, they were able to make strategic upgrades that cut energy use, reduced costs, and improved operational efficiency.
The Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) provides free energy assessments and access to up to £100,000 in match-funded grants to help SMEs reduce costs, improve efficiency, and cut emissions.
This 60-minute online webinar will showcase how the company secured £13,510 in match funding to implement energy-efficient upgrades. Projected savings include £2,500 in annual costs, and 4 tonnes of CO₂. Support from Aston University helped ease implementation, enabling the business to strengthen its competitive position and operational resilience.
