Then our “From Idea to Business: Start-Up Talks & Networking” event could be exactly the kickstart you and your business idea need.

The ‘Idea to Business: Start Up Talks and Networking’ event will run on the 23rd of October 2025, 6pm – 9pm at South Essex College, Market Square, Basildon SS14 1GB which is centrally located near the train station. During this evening event, you will be given the support and knowledge you need to discover the pathways to bring your ideas to the fore, as well as the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs in the same place as you.
This session will include topics such as:
- Learning how to market yourself effectively
- Finding your first client
- Marketing with no budget
- Utilising AI to launch your business

The Launch-It Programme
This evening event serves as one of our engagement events in the run-up to our full Launch-It programme. Now in it's second year, Launch-It Creative Tech Accelerator, is an accelerator programme designed for local entrepreneurs teaching you how to take a business from start, to scale! In this 10-week programme, participants will learn about everything it takes to set up and run a successful tech and/or digital business. And the best part? It's totally FREE!
