Join us for this fascinating insight to how map making has developed over the years, from the pen and ink drawings to the modern 3D virtual mapping world of computers.

Dr Michael Wood has been President of the British Cartographic Society (the business and academic aspects) and is a member of The Society of Cartographers (the practical technical cartographers of the UK) and The International Cartographic Association (ICA). His work involved travelling the World between 1991-2003. He received an OBE for ‘Services to Cartography’ in 2003
