About this talk:
The event marks the official launch of the final report of the Public Sector Capabilities Index (PSCI), a pioneering effort to understand how governments adapt, learn, and deliver in the face of complex challenges.
Over the past two years, and in close partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Index has been co-developed with more than 200 government officials across 45 cities and over 100 urban experts. It provides a rigorous, scalable framework for assessing public sector capabilities and has been shaped by the insights and experiences of those working at the forefront of government innovation.
The event will be held in person at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (11 Montague St, London, WC1B 5BP) on Friday, 3rd October 2025, from 17:30 to 19:00 BST, and will be followed by a short reception. Online participation will also be available, and a recording will be shared after the event.
