About this Event

ARU Inaugural lectures series

Join us for Prof Vogiatzaki’s inaugural lecture exploring how design, technology and a speculative approach to contemporary architecture can contribute to a sympathetic relationship between humans and Gaia in the post-Anthropocene era for dealing with, rather than contributing to climate change and many other crises.

Maria's research and respective published work focus on architectural materialisms as effects of human and nonhuman creativity, transdisciplinary and speculative design. Her recent research focuses on contemporary digital architecture including the systemic and ecological contexts of pervasive computational processes.
