TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR

Please arrive from 6:15. Tickets will be £17 standard and £10 student/under 26s.

Join us for an evening of engaging talks, an Afghan cashmere market and beautiful paintings from Arabella Dorman’s exhibition Before the Dawn - An Artist's Journey through Afghanistan.

 

The evening will be opened by Nicholas Crane, President of the Royal Geographical Society and presenter of the BBC’s Coast and include talks by:

 

Christina Lamb OBE, Foreign Correspondent for The Sunday Times and author of Farewell Kabul: From Afghanistan to a More Dangerous World
Owen Davis, former Royal Marines Officer & recipient of the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross, recently returned from a humanitarian visit to Afghanistan with Afghanaid
James Blewett, Director of Qaria Cashmere, a social enterprise linking small-scale Afghan farmers of cashmere wool to the international market
