Event Details

Join us for a special celebration event about the journey from "me" to "we" and how to create more happiness together.

BBC presenter Leo Johnson will share an entertaining overview of the amazing things that happen when we get together in our local communities. We will then hear from four inspiring people about some really practical and life-changing ways to help create more happiness locally.

We hope you'll come away feeling happier and also with some great new ideas and motivation to help contribute to a happier and kinder world.

Leo Johnson is passionate about the importance of re-connecting in our local communities. He is presenter of BBC Radio 4's FutureProofing, author of Turnaround Challenge and founder of Unthinkable Drinkable Brent.

"Johnson is both amusing and entertaining" ~ The Daily Telegraph

Ruth Rogers is a social entrepreneur and founder of BodyGossip. She now runs the Canvas Cafe, which became London's first Happy Cafe and a hub for lots of innovative ways to promote mental wellbeing.

"Happiness is about how we connect with one another. It’s about finding joy in small things, relationships and doing things for others" ~ Ruth Rogers

Shamash Alidina is a mindfulness teacher and bestselling author who teamed up with youth mentor Vicky Johnson to create the Museum of Happiness which helps people learn ways to discover more happiness.

"We have created a space for people to explore the art and science of happiness in an interactive and experiential way" ~ Shamash Alidina

Steph Wheeler is an Action for Happiness supporter who recently ran the Exploring What Matters course - both in her local community and in London - with some incredible and life-changing results.

"I'm passionate about positive psychology and it's so rewarding to be sharing these ideas in my local community" ~ Steph Wheeler
