Join us for an informal letter writing workshop, where you'll be guided through how to write a letter to someone with cancer.
Whether it's for someone you know, or for the charity's Donate A Letter programme, which sees letters sent across the country to cancer patients whose days may need brightening. Cancer can be isolating, regardless of the support network around the patient, so the charity's aim is to reach and support people facing cancer with a letter; easing feelings of loneliness and isolation and brightening the patient's day. To some patients, the letters offer a welcomed glimpse into a world away from cancer, to others they are a lifeline. And to the writers too, it can be therapeutic and provide a real sense to helping others in a meaningful way.
