On 11 October 2025 at 7:00 pm, the Maria Vraka Music Academy proudly inaugurates its presence in Kensington with a festive opening concert at St Sarkis Armenian Church.
This special evening marks a new chapter in the Academy’s journey, bringing its mission of artistic excellence and cultural exchange to one of London’s most vibrant cultural areas.
The programme will take the audience on a journey across cultures and styles — from the French elegance of Ravel to the Armenian fire of Khachaturian, with music from Spain, Japan, and Germany along the way. Works by Nikolai Medtner, Aram Khachaturian, Maurice Ravel, and others will be performed by distinguished graduates of the Royal Academy of Music:
Takanori Okamoto – violin
Lily Petrova – piano
Nikita Demidenko – piano
Following the concert, guests are warmly invited to join us for a drinks reception — a chance to celebrate, connect, and meet the Academy’s team.
Join us for this inaugural Kensington concert — an evening where tradition meets discovery, and music opens new horizons.
