Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Everybody dreams of making money doing what they love. But what steps do you actually need to take to turn your passions into a successful business? Join Glasgow's very own Sheri Scott from Forever Yours Betty as she chats to fellow successful business owners Tammy Koslovski and Emma Sinclair and asks them to share their secrets on how they made sure they love what they do for a living.

About the speakers -

Sheri Scott is the owner and creator of international re-nowned fashion and lifestyle blog Forever Yours Betty. Sheri is one of a new generation of social media influencers keeping us in the loop of where to go, what to see and who to know. Running her own business in PR & Events, she is a modern entrepreneur who knows the importance of social marketing and branding, working with brands from independent to high street and high end.

Tammy Kosloveski is the owner & creator of award winning Glasgow nail emporium NAF Salon. She started creating ways to sell her passion (nails) with water-activated nail art transfers in the form of the brand DIY Nails. The products were stocked in Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, ASOS & Nordstrom but Tammy soon saw the demand in Glasgow for an approachable trend-focused Nail Art & Beauty bar. Enter NAF Salon - after two years NAF boasts over 5,000 clients and an ever growing team of staff on it's payroll. The salon has been featured in Stylist, Glamour Scratch Magazine and on Vogue.co.uk and the team have worked with clients like Urban Outfitters, Debenhams, Topshop, GAP and Next to name but a few. As if all this isn't enough to keep her busy, our gal has also worked on photoshoots for high profile clients like Stella McCartney and launched a line of products known as NAF! Stuff.

Emma Sinclair is the brains behind online fashion retailer House of LBD. While working full time in the creative industry in Glasgow, Emma has always had a love for fashion and social media. When she saw a niche in the market for personalised clothes and accessories, House of LBD began to take shape. With her business only launching in November 2016 (all while she still works her day job), the past months have shown significant growth for the online retailer with an organic growth on Instagram of over 12,000 followers, business to business interest from brands such as Miss Selfridge as well as interest from TV stars and other famous faces.

The Red Bull Can Do Sessions are a series of talks designed to help you get more out of working life.
