About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Through a combination of lightning talks and a leadership panel, From Pathways to

Pipelines celebrates impactful data and AI work while spotlighting the importance of

community, mentorship, and visible leadership in building a more inclusive future for

tech. Whether you’re early in your career, leading a team, or looking to make a shift,

this is an opportunity to hear from those who are driving innovation and bringing

others with them for the ride.

We believe that seeing great leaders in action - solving complex problems,

navigating diverse career paths, and lifting others as they rise - is key to shifting the

gender diversity stats in tech and inspiring the next wave of leaders.

Join us for two energising sessions that spotlight real-world projects, practical career

insights and some great stories from the frontlines of the AI revolution.

In addition to the talks, there will be time to network with peers, meet the speakers,

and enjoy some pizza and drinks.

Session 1: Pipelines: Powering Impact with Data & AI

Behind every breakthrough in data and AI is a story of experimentation,

collaboration, and sometimes challenge. In this session, you’ll hear from data & AI

experts who solve real-world problems: from helping athletes reach the podium to

transforming training in healthcare.

Whether you’re an engineer, strategist, or simply curious about the possibilities of

data & AI, this session invites you to see the pipeline not just as tech infrastructure

but as a force for real change.

Session 2: Pathways: From first steps to empowering leadership

What makes a meaningful career in tech? In this candid discussion, leaders from

across Blend reflect on their career journeys, and the challenges, choices and

mentors that brought them to where they are now. We’ll talk all things leadership:

What makes a good leader, how to take the next step in your career and how to

mentor others?

This is a session where we hope you’ll be inspired by a group of strong role models

and join us in considering how we can all build more inclusive, impactful careers and

workplaces.
