From Plans To The Plate: Creating A Space People Want To Dine In
Wed 21 September 2016, 18:00 – 20:30 BST
Join us on 21st September for a restaurant design-based Q&A, food and drink at Albion Clerkenwell as part of London Design Festival. Opened earlier this year, and the newest of four Albions in London, Clerkenwell will host speakers from all sides of the brief in a full and frank discussion exploring the challenges, practical consideration, budgets and theories surrounding the design processes of opening a new restaurant.
From conception, to creation, to the first dish leaving the pass, our experienced panel will look at every stage with a particular focus on Albion Clerkenwell; a project in which all were involved.
Speakers will include Isabelle Chatel de Brancion of Spin Architecture, Albion Co-founder Peter Prescott, James Woodhouse of Conran Contracts, Sean Sutcliffe Co-founder and MD of Benchmark and ercol Chairman Edward Tadros.
Arriving from 6pm guests will be greeted with an Albion G&T, beer or wine before sitting down for the discussion at 6.30pm until 7.30pm. Afterwards there will be plenty of time to ask more questions over a fine selection of British charcuterie and cheese and a few more drinks to toast another great London Design Festival.
