From Preloved to Profit - Turning Second-Hand into Sustainable Income!

Join us for “From Preloved to Profit” our new funded, practical workshop designed especially for Stockport's VCFSE organisations who want to explore the potential of selling second-hand goods online.
Kaylie and Charlotte will help you to:
- Learn the pros and cons of platforms like eBay, Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Depop and EtsyDiscover what sells best (and where!)
- Get top tips on photography, promotion and marketing your causeFind out how selling preloved items can support your journey to becoming more sustainable and carbon-consciousMake the most of volunteer time, manage messaging and logistics, and keep your sanity while doing it!
Whether you're looking to raise funds, reduce waste, or raise awareness of your cause, this workshop will leave you full of ideas and feeling equipped to take the next step.
- Please note the Sector 3 office at Merseyway Innovation Centre holds a maximum of 12 people. Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided. Lunch is not included.
- Pictures may be taken at the event. Please let a member of the Sector 3 team know if you do not consent to having your picture taken.
Ticket Charges
We will be charging a refundable fee of £5 (+eventbrite fees) per ticket. This will be refunded to you once you sign in at the event. Please note, the total amount you will be refunded is £5 per ticket (we are unable to refund eventbrite fees).
** Please note, tickets are available strictly to volunteers and employees working for Voluntary, Community, Faith based groups, Social Enterprises and charitable organisations in Stockport. Accessibility
Merseyway Innovation Centre is accessible via the first floor from the Merseyway / Redrock car park. Please wave at the door and a receptionist will let you in.
Parking
The Merseyway / Redrock car park is the closest and most accessible car park.
Alternatively Warren Street car park (The Old Sainsburys) charge £3.50 for the whole day, if you're looking for a cheaper option.
