From Script to Screen

In this workshop, children will explore what goes on behind the scenes to make a film, before having a go at designing costumes, sets, props, or publicity!

You will learn about women who have worked in the film industry, and explore objects created by them in the collection of the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum.

You will get hands on drawing costumes and publicity material and building a model of a set, and put them on display in the museum.

This is a hands-on event with plenty of opportunity to tap into your creative side (and see some cool things not usually on display!).

This workshop is for children aged 9-12, accompanied by an adult. Please arrive for a 10 o'clock start.
