Overview

Advice for organisations and leaders on how they can better support themselves and menopausal women in their workplace.

According to a report by Socially Mobile and the CIPR, two-thirds of practitioners working in public relations in England and Wales below director level are female and a third are male. But only 46% of senior roles are held by women.

It’s tragic that, as women reach the top of their professional game, they quietly disappear.

There are many and varied reasons and these will be different for every individual, but menopause undoubtedly plays a part.

Its impact on mental health for some women cannot be underestimated: brain fog, sleep problems, anxiety, depression and even suicidal feelings.

We believe employers have a responsibility to help support senior women through this life stage. Indeed, the new Employment Rights Bill will soon make menopause action plans mandatory for employers with 250+ staff.

Hosted by Vicki DeBlasi, our special guest for this event is qualified menopause coach Tammy Barter from Big Fish Training.

The webinar will offer advice to organisations and leaders on how they can better support themselves and menopausal women in their workplace.
