This walk celebrates the 10th anniversary of The Atom Panoptican sculpture and is also is one of a number of free events taking place to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of famous literary genius, Charlotte Bronte, in 1816. Charlotte, Anne, Emily and Branwell often visited the beautiful village of Wycoller in Pendle, and Wycoller Hall was the inspiration for Ferndean Manor in Charlotte's novel Jane Eyre. This walk, led by knowledgeable guide, Norman Mitchell follows the route into Wycoller which was taken by Jane Eyre. The walk is around 5miles and takes 3 hours. As with all outdoor walks please dress appropriately with strong shoes/hiking books.. All those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 or over.
