From the Inside Out: Leading Schools to Build a Society That Cares
Overview
We are delighted to announce the upcoming annual John West-Burnham Memorial Lecture, a pivotal event for our network and for all leaders committed to shaping the future of our society through schools. This year, we are especially excited to welcome Malcolm Groves, Director of Schools of Tomorrow, as the distinguished speaker.
This thought-provoking lecture will explore how the core principles and daily practices within our schools can foster empathy, engagement, and participation, ultimately creating a more caring society. Malcolm will delve into how leaders can cultivate environments where contribution is not just taught, but lived.
Additonally, join us for a series of engaging fringe events on the day of and after the John West-Burnham Memorial Lecture. Including visiting local schools to see the amazing work taking place building on the legacy that John has left. These fringe events are designed to spark dialogue, reflection, and connection among educators and leaders.
