This fun course is focussed on the very pleasurable activity of producing home-made wines and liqueurs from wild foraged materials. This is an opportunity to learn about the processes involved, largely focusing on uncomplicated and simple techniques for making reliable wines you can make and enjoy throughout the foraging year. Everyone attending will prepare a gallon of wine of their choice on the day (note: you may be waiting anything from 6-12 months for this wine to be ready for drinking!) The cost of the event includes wine-making materials essential for the job, including a wine bucket, demijohn, and airlock, as well as a collection of tried and tested recipes. No wine-making session would be complete without a gratuitous amount of wine-tasting, so it is highly advised that you leave the car keys at home and find a safer means of transport!
