Hosted by Apprenticeship Specialist Suzanne McNicholas and Partnerships and Integration Manager Thomas Pickford, both from Skills for Growth - SME Support, we've teamed up with guest speakers from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Levy Matchmaking Service to unpack the apprenticeship offer and funding opportunities available to business owners.

You'll hear from the following speakers:

 Amy Glanville, Apprenticeships Programme Manager at GMCA, on why apprenticeships matter

 Thomas Pickford, Partnerships and Integration Manager at Skills for Growth - SME Support, giving an overview of the programme and how SMEs can access support

 Suzanne McNicholas, Apprenticeship Specialist, at Skills for Growth - SME Support, busting some apprenticeship myths and giving an overview of the service

 Adrian Healey, Head of Business Development at The Levy Matchmaking Service , on how the service works and who can apply. Adrian will be joined by an SME to demonstrate how the service has helped them.

Following the presentation, attendees will be invited to ask questions and will be updated with current information directly from the experts.

Apprenticeship Offer

Employers who hire a new apprentice between 1 April - 30 September 2021 will be eligible to receive up to £4000 to support their organisation costs.

This incentive is different to the levy, which you will hear more about from our speakers.
