About this event

Charity & Causes • Other

As part of Trustees Week, we are delighted to host this free event exploring the lived realities of ethnic minority trustees and the shift from tokenism to agency.

The session will feature a keynote from Darren Franklin, who will share interim findings from his PhD research into this important and timely subject. Ian Joseph will also offer brief reflections, setting the scene for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.

Following the talks, there will be an opportunity for networking, enabling attendees to exchange ideas, connect with peers, and reflect on how boards can foster more inclusive and empowering trustee experiences.

This event promises to be both insightful and practical, offering inspiration for trustees, boards, and organisations committed to genuine inclusion.

We hope you will attend. Attendance is limited, so please respond early to not miss out. Once capacity is reached, a waiting list will open automatically. Those on the waiting list will be updated if a place becomes available and admitted in order of registration
