Amazingly, the wild and windswept North East coast provides a winter home and vital service station to many bird species that breed in the far northern climes.

Much of our rocky, muddy and sandy shore coastline is designated as internationally important areas for these wonderful wintering and migrating birds. Waders and wildfowl are in abundance; a rich mosaic of species is to be found along this stretch of wonderful coastline and this presentation we will attempt to ‘peel back’ some of the layers and reveal migrations, adaptations and vulnerability of birds that live on the edge.

Event attendees will receive a Zoom link ahead of the first session. If you are new to Zoom, you can find more information about using it at their website here.

Please read the terms and conditions for NHSN education courses before booking.

N.B. Please check your junk folder if you don't receive emails from Eventbrite!
