Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Start the weekend early with Family Fridays on Friday July 7th!

Grab the kids and head in to town for nearly 2 hours of eating, crafting, laughing, dancing, playing and socialising on a Friday afternoon - a perfect end to the week and a perfect start to the weekend.

Choose from either:

OPTION 1: Sam's Kitchen + Postscript on Catherine's Hill for £12.50 per child

While children slip in to crafting nirvana at Postscript, creating fantastical decoupage creatures or personalising their own stationary, parents can browse, daydream, join in with the crafts or simply continue chatting before ambling a few short steps up the hill to Sam's Kitchen for children's tea. Once there, children will be served a delicious, handmade, stonebaked margarita pizza with a choice of an addition topping served with a delicious and nutritious pressed juice. Parents, while your children are eating why not grab a glass of wine, a cocktail, a coffee, or maybe even a small bite to eat. Chat, perch in the window, watch the world go and begin the weekend wind-down before heading home feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready for the weekend.

Suitable for all ages.

OR

OPTION 2: The Rye Bakery + Wavey Ravey Family Rave at the HUBnub Centre for £10.50 per child (adults rave for free)

Tucked away behind a secret door at the HUBnub, you will find Wavey Ravey. Wavey Ravey is a brand new shiny thing - part dance class, part rave, for the whole family. With dressing up very strongly encouraged (think 90's free party meets Jane Fonda meets a street dance version of The Octonauts), this is fun first, fitness optional. Everyone learns some killer moves set to stomping party drum n bass, dubstep, electro swing and the odd bit of Barry Manilow (only the good stuff). After working up an appetite, you will head downstairs to the Rye Bakery where they will serve childern's tea, a lovingly prepared pasta bake with homemade tomato sauce served with veggie sticks, dips and delicious homemade cordial. Kids can explore the play area, while parents sip on a coffee or tea, chat, relax and leave the week behind.

Suitable for all ages.

Please get in touch if you are only interested in attending one event.

Please note tickets are not free, by signing up on Eventbrite you are indicating your interest in the event. You will be contacted via email to make payment to Rather Nice Design Ltd which is the trading name of The Little Things Magazine. Your place will be confirmed once payment is made in full.
