Description

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) would like to invite you to an evening reception in the prestigious Admiralty House at the heart of Whitehall.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with small business exporters, meet UKTI trade advisors and hear the findings of new FSB research on how government can create the very best environment to get Britain’s small businesses exporting.

One in five small businesses currently export but FSB believes there is scope to double this figure. The event will explore how small businesses can overcome the challenge of finding customers in new markets, navigate the pitfalls of differing exchange rates and jump the logistical hurdles that small firms can sometimes face in new markets.

The agenda for the event is as follows:

6pm – Guests arrive
7pm – Speeches from Craig Beaumont (FSB, Head of External Affairs), Charlotte Chung (FSB, Policy Advisor) and Lord Price CVO (Minister of State for Trade and Investment)
8pm – Close

For security reasons, guests intending to come must register in advance and show photographic ID, such as a passport or driving license, with them at the door. Canapes and refreshments will be available. Please wear smart business attire.

Admiralty House is located between the Department for International Development and Horse Guards Parade. An FSB representative will be there to greet you on the day.

As part of the Government’s Exporting is GREAT initiative, FSB is a proud partner in getting more small businesses to start and grow their exporting capacity.
