Cyber security is recognised as a key issue for business and yet many small and micro businesses believe they are too small to have to worry about it.

Our Masterclass speakers will explain why it is important to be cyber secure no matter what size your business is and show you some simple steps to take to protect your business, your customers and your staff.

Our *speakers will be available after the presentations and Q&As to answer any one to one questions.

There will also be a chance to network, so don’t forget to bring your business cards.

John Unsworth is the Chief Executive of the London Digital Security Centre and he is a highly regarded financial and cyber-crime intelligence professional.

He has 20+ years’ experience in successfully leading national intelligence activities in the UK aimed at identifying, preventing and detecting criminal activities and targeting financial and cyber-crime threats committed by Organised Crime Groups.

Prior to joining the London Digital Security Centre, John was seconded to the Global Cyber Alliance (GCA), from one of its co-founders the City of London Police (CoLP) and also led CoLPs Economic and Cyber Crime Prevention Centre (ECPC).

Beverley Bates, LHS Solicitos has worked in the legal arena for over 20 years, firstly qualifying as a Legal Executive and then a Solicitor in 2004. She has extensive experience in employment law and gained a Masters in Employment Law in 2008. She joined LHS Solicitors (formerly Abbey Legal) in 2007 as an employment solicitor working on our legal helplines, before becoming manager of that team. Since 2014 she has been responsible for overseeing the entire legal advice centre in Croydon which is staffed with over 50 Solicitors and barristers as well as continuing to develop our award winning digital legal hub. LHS are proud to have worked with the FSB in providing their members with legal, tax, H&S, cyber and start-up advice for over 20 years.
