Description

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) will again be hosting a breakfast meeting to get the Yorkshire Business Market (YBM) off to a good start. The breakfast meeting will start at 7.30am and finish by 9.30am, leaving plenty of time to get to your stand or to attend the official opening of the YBM.

As well as great a great networking opportunity, we have arranged a number of speakers. To start the day off we have Lee Jackson, the President of The Professional Speakers Association who is going to show us ‘How to Present Like a Professional in 15 Minutes’

The theme of the meeting will be “Do ex-military personnel make good employees?” We will have Colonel Andy Hadfield, Deputy Commander, Headquarters 4th Infantry Brigade and Headquarters North East who will show the strengths of the military gives to its service personnel. Our next speaker will then share with us what benefits there are to employing ex-service personnel for your business. Also with us will be Peter Liddle from The Officers Association.

If looking to network with likeminded people or you are thinking about your next employee or you are in recruitment, you really should make every effort to attend this meeting.

Doors open 7.30am. Please have your ticket ready

7.30am – Informal Networking over bacon butties, etc.

7.45am – Formal networking time.

8.10am – Introduction to the FSB.

8.15am – Lee Jackson ‘How to Present Like a Professional in 15 Minutes’.

8.30am – Colonel Andy Hadfield ‘How the Military Personnel are Equipped for Life after the Service’
