The Furness Branch of the Federation of Small Businesses is hosting a Development Opportunities Update at Furness College on Monday 3 April at 5.30pm.
This will be presented by Stuart Klosinski of the Furness Economic Development Forum (FEDF) and will bring businesses right up to date with what projects are happening on the back of the high levels of investment into the Furness area in the coming months and years and will highlight emerging supplier opportunities.
FSB Furness Branch Chair, Phil Collier, says: “With this investment into the area, we have a fantastic opportunity for Furness businesses and it is important, therefore, to keep everyone right up to date with the opportunities that already, and will, exist as a result of this.
“We are fortunate to have Stuart Klosinski as our speaker for this event. Stuart has been at the forefront of business development in the area for many years, initially with Furness Enterprise and latterly with FEDF and so is ideally placed to to make businesses aware of potential opportunities.”
It is important to stress that this is not just aimed at the industrial and manufacturing sectors but also has significant relevance to other sectors, such as hospitality, the evening economy and, indeed, retailers in the town.
The evening starts at 5.30pm with a chance to network, with Stuart’s presentation commencing at 6pm. The event will close at 7.30pm.
Entry is FREE and the event is not restricted to FSB members. Please register your place on Eventbrite.
We look forward to welcoming you.
