Fugitive Visual Journaling with Dr Sheree Mack
Overview
FUGITIVE VISUAL JOURNALING with Dr. Sheree Mack. Hosted by WoC Azadi Collective.
No previous experience necessary. This event is for women* of the global majority only.
In this inspiring online creative retreat, Dr Sheree Mack will carefully guide us through her liberatory visual journaling practices exploring fugitivity.
'Together we will dive into fugitivity. What is fugitivity? Simply put, fugitivity means that you are not yet free. There’s something that still tries to contain you, that tries to bind you but you have made a decision to get yourself free.
You have made a decision to run. You are not running from something but you are running towards something.'
Collaboratively, through our visual journaling (staining pages/cutting/sticking/writing), our imagination and dreaming we will explore the practices and strategies we can use in collective to get free.We will practice the tools that support us in being full of ourselves, for ourselves.
This online workshop runs for 2.5 hours with a good rest-space in the middle. We'll start at 10.30am prompt. You are welcome to arrive from 10.20am.
We will have cc captioning. If you have any other access needs please let dalbinder@wocazadi know ASAP.
