About this event

Arts • Theatre

Have you ever felt stuck to the spot in a scene or a game? Feel like a couple of number elevens or even just stuck sitting or standing? Not sure what to do with your hands?

Then join this Full Body Impro taster class. A 2 hour session of theatrical improvisation which is movement and emotion led rather than logic and language. In this session we will play games that focus on simplicity, impulse and ensemble. Getting you out of your head and into your body.

A playful practice drawing from Remy Bertrand’s Imprology, Keith Johnstone’s Impro and Ruth Zaporah’s Action Theater. Ideal for folks with a bit of acting or improvisation experience but not a requirement.

Please bring water and clothes comfortable to move around in.
