Join us at the beautiful Engine Works in the West End of Glasgow for an educational, informative and fun filled day of workshops and talks, stalls and interactive sessions to help you understand and take more control of your whole body, your conditions and your future health.

With over 20 talks, interactive sessions and free health testing to include blood pressure monitoring, fat and muscle analysis and grip strength, this is a day you don't want to miss. We'll also have a bookable onsite bone scanner - over 50% of women will have osteoporosis by 50 - it doesn't have to be that way!

So, whether you're looking for support with Endometriosis, PCOS or PMDD, information on diet and nutrition, or how to improve your bone strength, your pelvic health or you want answers about your fertility, Bettii Presents has it all.

We’ll “cool the flames of Menopause” and help you understand health tracking with technology. We’ll talk heart and boobs and how to untangle your stress. We’ll deep dive into periods, talk about your rights at work and help you navigate the healthcare system.

We have interactive sessions on strength training, Yoga and Pilates, and we even chuck in a bit of meditation so you can enjoy your midday snacks and lunch in Zen.

It’s a choose-your-own-day event - book the talks and sessions that interest you, visit the stalls you want, get your blood pressure, body fat and muscle mass analysed and maybe even disappear into oblivion with a VR meditation headset.

The day will include sessions on:

  • Vulval Health: Lets Talk About Your Other Lips
  • Nutrition: Understanding your Diet, Inflammation and the Rise of Weight Loss Drugs
  • Menopause: Cooling the Flames
  • Incontinence: Get to Grips With Your Pelvic Floor Now!
  • Bone Health: a Cracking Good Tale
  • Fertility Clock: What Time is it Really?
  • Building Strength, Building Health: A Vital Session for all Women
  • Mental Health: The Tangle, How Stress & Trauma Tie Into Your Life
  • Health tracking: understanding technology and how it works for you
  • Period Power: Understanding Periods, PMS, PMDD and Your Cycles Impact on Health
  • Chronic Conditions: Unseen, Misunderstood, Real - the invisible trio: Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and PCOS

Frequently asked questions

Will food be provided?

Yes, delicious pastries and lunch will be provided in the cost of your ticket. You will also be able to buy additional tea, coffee and drinks throughout the day.

Is there parking?

Yes, there are 80 free spaces at the venue, as well as on street parking nearby.

Do I have to stay for the whole day?

Not at all, it's totally up to you. You can dip in and out of the sessions that interest you and leave whenever suits. The Engine Works has lots of lovely spaces for you to relax and recharge between sessions.

Is the day suitable for children?

We’ve set the age limit at 12+ as many of the sessions cover topics relevant to young people such as periods. However the day will involve frank, open discussions about intimate health topics - as parents and guardians, you know what's right for your young person and can use your own discretion.

Is the venue fully accessible?

The venue has step-free access to the ground floor. Some sessions are upstairs and there is no lift. If that’s a barrier for you, let us know at info@bettii.co.uk, we may be able to move sessions to suit your needs, but can’t guarantee this for all sessions.

Are babies welcome at the event?

Yes, and we will be providing a dedicated space for breastfeeding.

Who is Bettii?

Bettii is here to make managing your body easier. Founded by Elaine Galston, it started with a world-first menstrual cup washer for toilets. While that’s in development, Bettii Presents brings clear, medically-backed info to help women make confident, informed decisions about their health.

Can’t afford a ticket but really want to come?

We don’t want cost to be a barrier. Please email us at info@bettii.co.uk, we’ll do our best to help.
